It looks as if she is waiting for someone. Perhaps she promised her grandfather that she would meet him here on his birthday, just as they did every year. This year he is far away, but she came anyway, and she brought the umbrella he gave her when she was little. The air was cold and quiet, and the only sound was the river. Suddenly, she smiled: far away, on the other side of the bridge, a small figure with a hat was walking towards her.
